About Me

I've been honored to have been presented with so many opportunities that have led to my self-betterment as a person as well as a performer. I have learned so many skills and methods of performing and teaching from some of the best in the business. Not only have I experienced band in one of the most professional settings, but I have also received a wide range in styles of teaching and styles in technique. This has really prepared me to have my own established and unique style that I wish to spread in this amazing community. My journey still hasn't ended yet with many exciting things to come, but I am always searching for my next big opportunity.

The 2019 DCI season

Snareline, Blue Devils

This was my biggest and most exciting opportunity. I was 17 when I made the snareline but was 18 when I marched. I had gone through all of those years in the marching arts looking up to the pros and suddenly I was there doing it myself. So surreal but I've learned some of the most valuable lessons of my life at the Blue Devils. The Blue Devils have taught me how an organization and rehearsals can run smoothly and in the most efficient manner possible while still ensuring the best member experience. I was also educated in-depth on how the physiology and mechanics of the body best come together to create a quality and efficient marching and playing technique.

The 2018 DCI season

Snareline, Colts

The Colts was my first DCI experience and I would not trade it for the world. They were so accepting and willing to help a 16-year-old audition and 17-year-old member learn the ropes. The staff was so knowledgable and the members were always fun to have around. I have nothing but good things to say about the Colts.

2019 WGI season

Snareline, Atlanta Quest

Driving down to Atlanta from Raleigh every weekend for the whole six months season was not easy. This seven-hour drive was made down and up resulting in fourteen hours of driving added on every week to my already gas-guzzling schedule. Although the drive was horrendous, thank you Atlanta traffic, It was worth every mile. The people at that organization made the experience so enjoyable and there I've learned how to implement style into my playing in addition to great technique.

2016-18 DCA and WGI seasons

Snareline, Alchemy and Carolina Gold

When I tried out for DCA for the first time as a 14-year-old, I did not expect to get a spot. But I worked hard and proved that I could handle the pressure. I enjoyed all of my years with these organizations, especially the snareline at Alchemy, I miss those guys so much. It's so great how these organizations in the marching arts don't always provide you with a chance to strive for excellence but also an outlet just to hang out with cool and motivated people.
